Zapotopi
Do you belive this is a valid webiste?
No, I do not belive this is a valid website. The last time the site was updated was in 2008 meaning it is not up to date. Also, the site and topic itself just sounds pointless and useless. I don't really understand why someone would make or buy an AFDB and it doesn't give many reason on why you should either. It also proves it's an unreliable source from all the grammar and spelling mistakes. One last reason the website proves to be invalid is the factt that you cannot see wrote the information and who the site was made by. This is important when seeing if a site is trustworthy or not.

ID Theft Face-Off
"One of the best ways to protect your identity is by using online passwords only you would know - like your mothers maiden name or the last four digits of your social security number."
I answered "true" thinking that passwords as your mother maiden name would be good but the correct answer is false. People can easily find out that kind of general information about you and your family.

Trends and Factors
What 3 trends do you see in computer evolution? AND Why?
a) Computer size- As time goes by, laptops seem to be getting more and more smaller. The more portable, the better people seem to like them.
b)Touch-sreen- In this time period, many new things are evolving and especially technology. With phones being touch screen it seems like more tablets and computers and becoming touch screen and more advanced.
c)Mobile payments- Also throughout the years, as we've become more advanced in technology, I've seen more examples of places being able to pay online and even preferring that sometimes.
Name 3 factors that drive technological innovation.

What is POIT?
POIT is the Principles of Information Technology. It's where we are taught the basics of hardware and software and look into hardware components. I think we will also be taught how to edit and create our own websites. We will also know more about computers, the software, and how it works. From this class we will be taught how to work in groups while involved with computers. I also believe this class will help us in projects and in the future including our career.
In today's world we are very much involved with technology meaning a lot of things are involved with computers. I think this class and POIT will help us get ready for that. It will also help build our technical knowledge. Learning things like keyboard short cuts and just the basics, I think we will be taught a lot. Going into the depths of computer works and the qualities, this will help us in the future.
